

Engineering Internship
Job Description:
Our growing engineering firm has an open position for an engineering intern in its Fayetteville, Arkansas office.
Qualifications:

Bachelors (Preferred)
Responsibilities:
-
This position is reporting directly to the engineering manager.

Assisting in preparing engineering design, calculation, AutoCAD drawings, and specifications, assisting in the coordination of the daily drafting and engineering activities.

Document control and submittals – recording customer documents, creating and updating the document tracking spreadsheet, accurately and timely.

Creating, reviewing, and revising reports as directed by the engineering manager.

Assisting in job site measurement and data collections, occasional travel, and field trips varying from 1 day to 4 days are required.

Performing general office duties and errands and other duties assigned.
Required:
-
Major in mechanical, civil engineering, or equivalent technical majors in Junior or Senior level, minimum 3.3 GPA.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Outstanding computer skills with the ability to apply knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook), current MS 365, and Adobe knowledge and experience are required.

Prior internship or working experience is highly desirable.

Excellent organization skills, self-motivated, hard-working. Must be punctual, on time, and reliable.

Must be detailed and thorough, and client-oriented, continuously improve through feedback.

Ability to exercise appropriate discretion and good judgment in completing job duties on time and in high quality and maintaining confidential information.

Ability to follow the instructions, establish and maintain an effective working relationship with clients, engineering manager, and co-workers.
