Piping and HVAC Designer

Required Qualifications:

  • Proficient in drafting on AutoCAD 2D drawings and Revit 3D modeling.

  • Experience in design and interpreting mechanical, utility and HVAC equipment layouts, duct and piping (compressed air, water, steam, gas, and so on), process and pipelines.

  • Field trips and field measurement and to create as built, existing and proposed mechanical and utility piping drawings

  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and work on several projects concurrently while accommodating occasional changes quickly and efficiently, must be self-motivated with good work ethic and track records

  • Excellent verbal and written communication as well as attention to detail required

  • Must be adaptable to all kinds of changes and highly demanding time frames

  • Proficient in Adobe Acrobat Pro and Microsoft Office Suite programs (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)


Position Responsibilities:

  • Provide plan and section views, schematic drawings, schematic of utility and process piping drawings, either 2D or 3D

  • Collaborate with engineers to ensure timely completion of projects

  • Open to learn and complete tasks related to job or assignment on time and with good quality

  • Performs other duties as assigned.



Vocational School Training in Computer Aided Drafting

Detailed and thorough, and client oriented

Piping and pipeline design with minimum supervision

Food processing drafting experiences are preferred

Knowledge on mechanical, utility piping and HVAC, piping and duct design

3D and 2D piping design


Compensation: DOE


Employment:       Hourly to Full Time
